Zelenskyy in Brussels today. Will take part in summit, meet with NATO Secretary General and Prime Minister of Belgium

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will arrive in Brussels on March 6, where he will meet with the Prime Minister of Belgium, take part in an extraordinary EU summit and hold a number of other negotiations, including with the NATO Secretary General.

As Yevropeiiska Pravda reported with reference to the presidential spokesman Serhii Nykyforov, the trip will begin with Zelenskyy's meeting with the Prime Minister of Belgium Bart De Wever. Statements to the press are also planned.

At approximately 12:00 p.m., the President of Ukraine will go to the building where the meetings of the European Council are held, and will hold talks with its President António Costa and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.

Later, an extraordinary summit of EU leaders will begin, in which Zelenskyy will participate.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, March 5, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a plan for the first steps towards a lasting peace will be ready in the near future.

Meanwhile, Ukraine and the United States are working to organize a new meeting. Kyiv expects positive results from the discussions as early as next week.
