Since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the aggressor country of the russian federation into Ukraine, more than 6,900 cases of the use of munitions containing dangerous chemical substances by the russian occupiers have been recorded.
The Deputy Head of the Main Department of Mine Action, Civil Protection and Environmental Safety, Colonel Valerii Veber, reported this during a seminar as part of the command and staff exercises on criminal prosecution for chemical, bacteriological, radiation and nuclear (CBRN) crimes.
"During the large-scale war, medical assistance has already been provided to almost 3,400 Ukrainian servicemen with signs of poisoning by an unknown chemical substance," Colonel Valerii Veber said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 4, a total of 108 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most actively in the operational zone in the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation (30 clashes) and on the Pokrovsk axis (17 clashes).
It was also reported that as of Wednesday morning, March 5, the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, had lost more than 1,200 soldiers, a tank, and 108 unmanned aerial vehicles in the war against Ukraine.
