Centravis pipe holding (Dnipropetrovsk Region) has shipped 193 tons of boiler pipes to Caldema (Brazil), a company specializing in the production of industrial equipment.
The company has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that the Ukrainian pipes are intended for the production of a steam boiler that will run on cotton seeds.
This project is part of the environmental trend of using biomass as an alternative energy source.
The boiler is being developed for one of the Brazilian enterprises that seeks to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
"This is a large order - for one of the large enterprises in this industry and a prominent player in the local market. We hope that it will help expand the presence of our company in the South American market, which has been actively growing in recent years," said Centravis Sales Director Artem Atanasov.
Brazil is among the top 10 countries in the world in terms of gross domestic product.
According to Atanasov, last year there was very good growth dynamics in the North and South American markets.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2024, compared to 2023, the Centravis pipe holding increased its production of seamless stainless pipes by 12.6% to 13,700 tons.
Centravis is one of the world's largest manufacturers of seamless stainless pipes.
