Zelenskyy instructs to clarify situation with US aid to Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported that he instructed the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, intelligence chiefs, diplomats to contact their American colleagues and obtain full information about assistance from the US.

The head of state said this in an evening address on Tuesday, March 4.

"Today, many have one question: what will happen next with assistance from America? I instructed the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the heads of our intelligence, diplomats to contact their counterparts in the United States of America and obtain official information. People should not guess. Ukraine and America deserve a respectful dialogue, a clear position of each other. Especially when it comes to protecting lives during a full-scale war," Zelenskyy emphasized.

The President recalled that the US had already stopped the transfer of assistance to Ukraine, after which the military and civil services developed algorithms for actions in case of any development of the situation.

On March 4, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that US support for Ukraine would continue.
