On the night of March 5, the russians attacked Ukraine with three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh Oblast, one S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile from the Kursk Oblast, and 181 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Chauda.
This is stated in the message of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is reported that the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 09:30a.m., it was confirmed that 115 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types were shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Mykolaiv and Odesa Regions.

55 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences).
The Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv Regions were affected by the enemy attack.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully struck a military facility of the 28th Rifle Battalion of the 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the invaders in the Kursk Oblast.
