Overnight into Monday, March 3, russian troops launched 83 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 46 of them, another 31 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of March 3 (from 07:00 pm on March 2), the enemy attacked with 83 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russian federation).
"As of 08:30 am, the shooting down of 46 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Dnipropetrovsk Regions has been confirmed. 31 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences)," the message says.
Kharkiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia Regions were affected by the enemy attack.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of March 1, the russians launched 154 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 103 of them, another 51 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).
