Center for Countering Disinformation denies US initiating deportation of Ukrainian migrants for participating in rallies in support of Ukraine

The Center for Countering Disinformation has stated that the information spread by russian Telegram channels about the alleged deportation by the United States of Ukrainian migrants who participated in rallies in support of Ukraine is false.

The Center reported this on Facebook.

"Russian Telegram channels are spreading false information that the U.S. Presidential Administration is initiating the deportation of Ukrainian migrants due to their participation in mass events in support of Ukraine, and that some "criminal networks" are allegedly involved in the organization of these rallies," the message says.

It is emphasized that this information is not true - there have been no such statements from representatives of the U.S. authorities or law enforcement agencies, and the message is being spread only through russian Telegram channels without reference to any source of information.

"By spreading such fakes, hostile propaganda is trying to discredit Ukrainians abroad, creating their image as "lawbreakers." "The enemy is also trying to downplay support for our state abroad by creating the illusion of the "artificiality" of pro-Ukrainian mass rallies," the Center for Countering Disinformation explained.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, people in the U.S. took to the streets to protest in support of Ukraine after Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Donald Trump, and J.D. Vance had an argument on live TV.
