The Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding back the offensive of the russian occupiers. At the moment, the number of clashes with the russian aggressor is 57.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Terrorists continue to destroy Ukrainian cities and villages with rocket, air and artillery strikes.
Today, communities of settlements such as Brantsivka, Bratenytsia, Hirky in the Sumy Region; Mkhy, Halahanivka, Mykolaivka in the Chernihiv Region; Tymofiivka in the Kharkiv Region were affected by enemy artillery and mortar fire.
On the Kharkiv axis, the enemy carried out airstrikes with KABs on Okhrimivka, Makarove and Hraniv.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy attacked three times in the areas of the settlements of Novoosynove and Zahryzove, two battles are ongoing.
On the Lyman axis, the invading army carried out six attacks on Ukrainian positions near Nove and Novomykhailivka during the day, four battles are ongoing. Our soldiers are holding their defenses steadfastly and inflicting losses on the enemy. Borova and Bohuslavka were hit by airstrikes.
On the Toretsk axis, 10 clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day in the areas of the settlements of Krymske, Dachne, Toretsk and Dyliivka. One clash is still ongoing. Kostiantynivka and Toretsk were hit by airstrikes.
On the Pokrovsk axis, russian invaders made 15 attempts to push our defenders from their occupied positions near Nova Poltavka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Pokrovsk, Pishchane, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka, Andriivka and Ulakly. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelling 13 enemy attacks, two clashes are still ongoing. In addition, enemy aircraft struck Novopavlivka and Novoukrainka with KABs.
On the Novopavlivka axis, five enemy attacks took place in the areas of Kostiantynopil and Skudne.
Three enemy assaults were repelled by Ukrainian soldiers on the Huliaipole axis, near Pryvilne and Charivne. Ternove, Huliaipole and Zaliznychne were hit by airstrikes.
Three clashes took place on the Orikhiv axis, one attack by the Defense Forces has already been repelled, the invader is trying, with the support of aviation, to advance in the Piatykhatky and Kamianske areas.
One clash is ongoing on the Dnieper axis.
On the Kursk axis, Ukrainian defenders have repelled nine enemy attacks, two more clashes are ongoing so far, in addition, the enemy launched 14 air strikes, dropping 17 anti-aircraft missiles, and carried out 210 artillery attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.
On the Kharkiv, Siversk and Kramatorsk axes, the occupation forces did not carry out active offensive actions.
On the remaining axes, there were no special changes of the situation.
