Ukraine proposes to create joint ventures with French companies that produce weapons, according to needs. Several projects have been proposed that can be financed with interest from frozen assets of the russian federation.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Serhii Boiev stated this at a meeting with the Special Envoy of the President of France for Assistance and Reconstruction of Ukraine Pierre Elbron, as reported by the official portal of the MoD.
Serhii Boiev informed that Ukraine’s critical needs remain air defense and missile defense systems, interceptor missiles for existing systems, heavy armored vehicles and ammunition.
“In addition to investments and development of production, Ukraine is also interested in purchasing ready-made weapons. The needs remain significant, the situation on the front is dynamic, so we need quick decisions,” the Deputy Minister concluded.

Serhii Boiev also informed the Special Envoy of the President of France about russia’s current plans. He stressed: the aggressor's actions indicate that the russian federation is not going to stop the war and continues to increase its capabilities in forming units, attracting new people and developing the defense industry.
"Continued support from partners and readiness to increase it are important for us. Ukraine must be strong on the battlefield – this is important for achieving sustainable peace," noted Serhii Boiev.
