On the night of Saturday, March 1, russian troops launched 154 drones over the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to shoot down 103 of them, another 51 drones did not reach their targets (locationally lost).
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of March 1, the enemy attacked with 154 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all – russian federation).
"As of 08:30 a.m., it has been confirmed that 103 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types have been shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kherson, Odesa and Mykolaiv Regions. 51 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences)," the report says.
The Kharkiv, Odesa, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Kyiv Regions were affected by the enemy attack.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of February 28, the russians launched 208 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 107 of them, and another 97 drones did not reach their targets.
