America First: White House publishes post following Zelenskyy-Trump meeting

The official White House account on the social network X (formerly Twitter) published a post with the words "America First" following the meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his counterpart Donald Trump.

This is evidenced by the corresponding publication.

The White House account published a photo of the American flag, which it signed with the words "America First".

After the meeting with Zelenskyy, Trump himself wrote on the Truth Social and X networks that the Ukrainian President was allegedly "not ready for Peace if America is involved.

"We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure. It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations. I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace," Trump wrote.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 28, Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Washington to meet with Donald Trump. The main purpose of the Ukrainian President's visit was to sign a mineral agreement.

However, during the public part of the meeting, Zelenskyy got into a heated argument with Trump over Washington's soft approach to russian dictator vladimir putin.

Zelenskyy and Trump later held a closed-door conversation, but it didn't last long. As it later became known, the Ukrainian President left the White House early.
