As of Friday morning, February 28, the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, lost 1,060 soldiers in battles against Ukraine. The total losses of the enemy in personnel and equipment became even greater, since after the receipt of clarifications, the data were corrected.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to February 27, 2025 were approximately:
- personnel - about 874,560 (+1,060) people (yesterday the number of losses was 871,850 military - this was before today's clarified data arrived);
- tanks - 10,222 (+13) units;
- armored combat vehicles - 21,234 (+17) units;
- artillery systems - 23,847 (+54) units;
- MLRS - 1,303 (+1) units;
- air defense systems - 1,087 units;
- aircraft - 370 units;
- helicopters - 331 units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 27,274 (+172) units;
- cruise missiles - 3,085 units;
- ships/boats - 28 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tanker trucks - 38,944 (+126) units;
- special equipment - 3,763 (+4) units
"Due to the constant arrival of updated intelligence data, there was a need to adjust some items of the enemy's total losses - personnel, armored combat vehicles, artillery systems, MLRS, air defense systems, cruise missiles, motor vehicles and special equipment. The total figure has been adjusted, and losses per day are reported in the usual mode," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the losses of russian troops on February 25 increased by 1,170 to 870,700 people, and equipment - by 19 tanks, 15 armored vehicles and 34 artillery systems.
