Sweden has manufactured two large gas turbines to support Ukraine.
The Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine reported this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Minister for International Cooperation and Trade Benjamin Dusa noted that two large gas turbines made in Sweden with Swedish money are preparing to go to Ukraine.
“Each turbine will generate electricity for 185,000 people. We are doing everything we can to support Ukrainian families,” he added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in early September 2024, Sweden announced that it would allocate 40 million euros to Ukraine for the purchase of energy equipment.
