President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he had a conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. They discussed the recent visit of the French President to the United States.
Zelenskyy reported this in his traditional evening video address to Ukrainians.
"I spoke with President Macron about his visit to America, we are coordinating our actions," Zelenskyy said.
The President thanked the French leader for his support for Ukraine.
The President did not mention any other children of his conversation with Macron.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on Monday, February 24, Emmanuel Macron arrived in Washington to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump.
During the conversation with Macron, Trump said that he was conducting "serious negotiations" with russian dictator vladimir putin about ending the war.
He also said that he was not against sending European peacekeepers to Ukraine. At the same time, Trump said, putin is also supposedly not against this initiative.
Last week, Macron said that during a visit to the United States he intends to tell Trump not to be weak in front of russian dictator vladimir putin.
