Trump refuses to call putin dictator in order to reach agreement – MP Merezhko

A Member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People faction, chairman of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and interparliamentary cooperation Oleksandr Merezhko believes that U.S. President Donald Trump refused to call russian president vladimir putin a dictator in order to reach an agreement with him.

He told the Ukrainian News agency about this.

"Trump believes: "If I want to achieve some result, to conclude an agreement, then I cannot insult this person," even if he is a war criminal and terrorist, which is putin," the internationalist MP is convinced.

Merezhko called such statements by Trump towards putin a political game.

The MP recalled that during the previous term, Trump had complimentary communication with South Korean dictator Kim Jong Un for the sake of an agreement.

"Again, this is a continuation of the political game," Merezhko explained Trump's statement that putin is supposedly not a "dictator."

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, U.S. President Donald Trump considers it frivolous to call kremlin leader vladimir putin a dictator.
