A drone was used to deliver blood directly to the position for a soldier of the 12th Special Forces Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, who was wounded in the neck. The chances of survival due to the serious injury were minimal.
This was reported by the official channel of the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group on Sunday, February 23.
In the Eastern Axis, an Azov soldier with the call sign Chervonyi received a shrapnel wound to the neck. The soldier was losing a lot of blood, it was impossible to quickly evacuate him from the line of fire. Then the doctors decided to deliver blood to the trench for transfusion using a drone.
"The chances of survival were minimal. However, thanks to the coordinated work of the comrades and doctors, it was decided to use a drone to deliver blood directly to the position of Chervonui. The Azov fighters successfully performed a blood transfusion to the wounded comrade," the report says.
After that, the wounded man was evacuated from the battlefield, where doctors have stabilized his condition. Currently, the fight for the defender's life continues.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January, in the Toretsk Axis, the Azov fighters captured an Eskimo.
