The special services of the aggressor country russia are calling on Ukrainians to protest and spreading fakes about street riots in different parts of the country.
This is stated in a message of the Security Service of Ukraine on Friday, February 21.
The SSU warned that russian special services have intensified information and psychological special operations in Ukraine. The aggressor country is trying to split society by carrying out information sabotage.
"Recently, the number of information sabotage aimed at splitting society and artificially spreading protest sentiments has significantly increased. For provocations, Russian special services have used the full potential of their bot farms and massively use controlled groups and fake accounts in popular messengers and social networks, most actively in TikTok and Telegram," the message says.
The enemy is spreading fakes about the alleged spread of protest sentiments among Ukrainians and unrest across Ukraine, while calling on citizens to take part in mass actions and offering money for participating in rallies. The SSU called on Ukrainians to be vigilant and not to react to provocations by the russian federation, which wants to undermine the country from within.
The agency recalled that actions aimed at violently changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power are punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, law enforcement officers prevented attempts by the FSB to carry out a series of terrorist attacks in the Kyiv Region.
Earlier, the Security Service and the National Police detained agents of the special services of the aggressor country, the russian federation, who, at the behest of the russians, were preparing a terrorist attack in Mykolaiv on February 14.
