The russian dictator's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that media reports about the alleged preparation of a visit by U.S. President Donald Trump to moscow on May 9 are untrue.
Peskov said this in a comment to the russian propaganda agency RBC.
The agency writes that when asked whether an agreement had really been reached on Trump's visit to moscow, Peskov replied "no".
Later, the American leader personally denied the information about his alleged intention to visit moscow on May 9.
According to the British publication The Times, Trump told reporters about this.
"No, no I'm not," said the U.S. President.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the French publication Le Point wrote, citing its own sources, that Trump is going to come to moscow and his visit is supposedly scheduled for May 9, 2025.
Recall that Reuters reported that over the past few months, representatives of the United States and russia have held secret meetings to discuss ending the russian-Ukrainian war.
And the former head of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, Alnur Musayev, said that in 1987 the KGB of the Soviet Union allegedly recruited Trump under the pseudonym "Krasnov."
