Britons consider supporting Ukraine higher priority than improving relations with US — poll

British residents believe that supporting Ukraine in its confrontation with russia's full-scale military aggression is more important than maintaining good relations with the U.S.

This is evidenced by the results of a poll conducted by the British international company YouGov.

The Britons were asked what they consider a priority for London: supporting Ukraine or maintaining good relations with the U.S.

The option "It is more important for the UK government to support Ukraine" was chosen by 48% of respondents.

Only 20% of people who took part in the poll chose the option " It is more important for the UK government to maintain good relations with the US".

Another 18% of Britons do not know the answer to the question, and 14% did not choose any of the options.

The poll was conducted on Thursday, February 20. Almost 5,300 Britons over 18 years of age took part in it.
