The russian occupiers have launched a full-fledged railway connection Mariupol - Rostov. Then they intend to complete the branch and connect the connection with Crimea.
This is stated in the message of the Mariupol City Council.
"The occupiers have launched a full-fledged railway connection Rostov-on-Don - Mariupol - Volnovakha - Donetsk. The occupiers have built a railway branch in order to shorten the route of delivering military equipment to the front from Rostov to Mariupol and Volnovakha," it says.
The city council added that this railway branch should simplify military logistics and reduce the dependence of the russian army on the Crimea bridge.
In addition, the russian occupiers plan to build a railway branch to the temporarily occupied Crimea.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, several cases of mysterious disappearances of lonely pensioners have been recorded in temporarily occupied Mariupol, Donetsk Region, since September 2024. The apartments of at least three of them have passed to new owners.
