USA asks to cancel press conference of Zelenskyy and Kellogg - Nikiforov

The American side asked not to hold a joint press conference after the meeting of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy with the Special Envoy of US President Donald Trump to Ukraine and russia Keith Kellogg.

This was stated to journalists by the spokesman for the head of state, Serhii Nikiforov, on Thursday, February 20.

According to the publication, journalists were expecting to communicate with Zelenskyy and Kellogg, but there was no access to the press. The meeting between the President of Ukraine and the Special Envoy of Trump took place without communication with the media.

"At the request of the American side, the format of the meeting provides for a protocol recording and does not provide for statements or questions," Nikiforov commented.

On February 19, Kellogg met with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi.

As a reminder, on February 15, Kellogg said that during his visit to Kyiv he would draw on Zelenskyy's conversations with US Vice President J.D. Vance.
