On the night of February 20, the aggressor country of russia carried out another massive missile and drone attack on gas infrastructure. Production facilities, in particular, sustained damage.
This was reported by Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko on Facebook.
He noted that specialists have already begun assessing the damage and restoring work.
"The goal of these criminal attacks is to stop gas production, which is necessary to meet the domestic needs of citizens and central heating. Currently, all necessary measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences of the attacks and stabilize gas supplies," Halushchenko wrote.
The minister emphasized that such actions by the enemy are outright terrorism.
"While russia continues to blatantly lie about not attacking critical civilian infrastructure, we are witnessing several missiles simultaneously targeting Ukrainian gas production facilities. Such actions by the enemy only prove once again that russia is trying to hurt ordinary Ukrainians, to plunge them into the cold in the middle of winter," he added.
As a reminder, the enemy continues the energy terror of the Odesa Region for the second night in a row. During the massive attack, the DTEK Odesa Grids energy facility was again attacked.
