The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) and the National Police have detained two agents of the aggressor country, the russian federation, who on February 5 carried out a terrorist attack in the Khmelnytskyi Region using a courier from a delivery service.
The SSU reported this on its Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The SSU reported that within 24 hours after the terrorist attack, when a courier died on the spot and 8 people were injured in an explosion near the building of a territorial recruitment and social support center in Kamianets-Podilskyi, both perpetrators of the crime were detained, and their connection with the russian special services was documented over the following days.

It is noted that the russian agents were a local drug addict and a 17-year-old student of a city college, who were recruited via the Telegram channel in search of "easy" earnings.
Both attackers acted separately, but had a common russian supervisor.
On the supervisor's instructions, the underage agent made an improvised explosive device (IED), filled it with nuts and rebar scraps for maximum damage, and equipped it with a mobile phone for remote detonation.
Then the student hid the IED and transmitted the geolocation to his supervisor from the FSB, who reported the coordinates to another drug-addicted agent, who later took the explosives.
This agent was supposed to deliver the IED under the guise of a parcel to the building of the territorial recruitment and social support center, but he was afraid that they might try to eliminate him "as a witness", so he ordered a delivery.

When the courier arrived at the territorial recruitment and social support center, the occupants detonated the explosives along with him.
Currently, both detainees have been notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act resulting in death of a person).
The perpetrators are in custody, they face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, law enforcement officers recently detained two 19-year-old young men who were preparing a terrorist attack near the district police department in the center of Rivne.
The suspects were supposed to leave an improvised explosive device (IED) disguised in a bag near the administrative building of the law enforcement agency, but at the moment of planting the explosive, the occupiers planned to detonate it by calling a mobile phone connected to the IED.
In this way, the russians planned to kill the maximum number of police officers and ordinary citizens and at the same time eliminate the perpetrators of the terrorist attack as "extra" witnesses.
The Security Service of Ukraine warned citizens that they would be immediately blown up by the russian special services if they agreed to deliver any package to territorial recruitment and social support centers on their instructions.
