President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that no negotiations with russian dictator vladimir putin can begin without a united position of Ukraine, Europe and the United States. He wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
He said that today he had a telephone conversation with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
"We discussed the conditions necessary for a lasting and genuine peace in Ukraine, and agreed that no negotiations with Putin can begin without a united position of Ukraine, Europe and the United States," the President noted.
Zelenskyy also informed Tusk about his conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, and they discussed key messages and the need to coordinate the positions of all Europeans to achieve successful results for all of Europe.
"He stressed that Ukraine should negotiate from a position of strength, with strong and reliable security guarantees, and that NATO membership would be the most economically beneficial for partners. Another important guarantee is serious investments in the Ukrainian defense industry," the head of state added.
Zelenskyy also warned world leaders against trusting putin's words about his readiness to end the war.
Recall, Trump called the negotiations with russia and Ukraine "great."
