Zelenskyy and Trump had telephone conversation

On the evening of Wednesday, February 12, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Zelenskyy reported this on his Telegram channel.

"Just spoke with Donald Trump. The conversation was long. About the possibilities of achieving peace. About our readiness to work together at the team level. About our technological capabilities, in particular drones and other modern production. Grateful to President Trump for his interest in what we can do together. We discussed our conversation with Scott Bessent and the preparation of our new agreement on security and economic and resource cooperation," Zelenskyy wrote.

Trump also informed Zelenskyy about the details of his conversation with dictator putin.

"Ukraine wants peace more than anyone else. We are determining our joint steps with America to stop Russian aggression and guarantee a reliable, lasting peace. As President Trump said, let's get it done," Zelenskyy emphasized.

He also said that they had agreed with Trump on further contacts and meetings.

At the same time, Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social that his conversation with Zelenskyy "went very well."

"We discussed a variety of topics having to do with the war, but mostly, the meeting that is being set up on Friday in Munich, where Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will lead the Delegation. I am hopeful that the results of that meeting will be positive," the U.S. President wrote.
