The Verkhovna Rada began its session and immediately closed it.
Yaroslav Zhelezniak, a Member of Parliament from the Holos faction announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"That's it. The session is closed," he wrote.
Zhelezniak published a video of the start of the Rada's work, where the European Solidarity faction blocked the parliament's rostrum with posters "Ukraine is not Russia." The video also shows a scuffle between Yurii Kamelchuk, a Member of Parliament from the Servant of the People party, and Mykhailo Bondar, a Member of Parliament from the European Solidarity party.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the evening of February 12, the National Security and Defense Council imposed sanctions against former President of Ukraine, Member of Parliament, and leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko, at its session.
