American Republican politician, representative of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe Joe Wilson announced that he is going to present to US President Donald Trump a proposal to provide Ukraine with "victory weapons" to defeat the aggressor country of russia.
Wilson wrote about this in his X-account on Monday, February 10.The politician stated that russia must be forced to negotiate from a position of force.
"Today I am presenting an Act granting President Trump flexible powers to send victory weapons to our partners, including Ukraine, in order to deter the war criminal putin, as Biden should have done long ago. Force russia to sit at the negotiating table with the help of American force!" the senator emphasized.
Wilson stressed that russia should be banned from purchasing any Western military equipment.
It is known from open sources that Joe Wilson is a representative of the Republican Party. He has represented the 2nd district of South Carolina in the US House of Representatives since 2001, and also represents the House of Representatives on the Committee on Security and Cooperation in Europe.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 25, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the United States had not suspended military aid to Ukraine.
