Today, February 10, the President of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Nadia Calviño and the Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to Ukraine Katarina Mathernova arrived in Kyiv for a visit.
Mathernova reported this on X.
"Great to arrive in Kyiv with @NadiaCalvino, welcomed warmly by @Pertsovskyi_O. Another excellent journey with @Ukrzaliznytsia — proud of 🇪🇺 role in its resilience and modernization alongside @EIB,” the message says.

Nadia Calviño is a Spanish economist and civil servant who has been the President of the European Investment Bank since January 2024.
Katarina Mathernova has held senior management and advisory positions at the European Commission, the World Bank, and in the Government of Slovakia as the Principal Institutional and Political Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs. She has been the Ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine since September 2023.
