On February 9, there were 99 combat clashes on the front, the enemy attacked the most on the Pokrovsk axis (33 clashes) and in the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation (18 clashes).
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched two missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, as well as 87 air strikes, dropping 138 guided bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out more than 5,800 attacks, 133 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,427 kamikaze drones to strike.
On February 9, a total of 99 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, Ukrainian troops repelled three enemy attacks near Vovchansk and Fyholivka.
On the Kupiansk axis, there were seven attacks by the invaders near the settlements of Bohuslavka, Stepova Novosilka, Holubivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzove.
On the Lyman axis, the russians attacked ten times, trying to advance near the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Novoserhiivka, Yampolivka, Kolodiazi, Kopanky, and Novoliubivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, two clashes were recorded near the settlement of Chasiv Yar.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 13 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Krymske, and Shcherbynivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 33 assaults by the aggressor on the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Pishchane, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Andriivka and Dachne.
The enemy was actively using aviation on the Novopavlivka axis, the invaders tried in vain ten times to break through near the settlement of Kostiantynopil.
In the operational zone in the Kursk Oblast (russian federation), units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 18 attacks by russian invaders.
In addition, the enemy carried out 39 air strikes using 69 guided bombs, and also carried out 493 artillery attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements, including nine – from MLRS.
On the Siversk, Huliaipole, Orikhiv and Dnieper axes over the past day, the enemy did not conduct assault operations.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces have hit one Buk anti-aircraft missile system, seven areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment, five artillery systems and a command post of the russian invaders.
The total losses of the russian occupiers on February 9 amounted to 1,170 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 7, a total of 123 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of which was on the Pokrovsk (30 clashes) and Kursk (28) axes.
