Drone strikes on russia are yielding results. Problems with oil processing are gradually increasing there. But there is still much to work on.
Former Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine Ivan Plachkov told reporters about this, noting that Ukraine has been effectively working on enterprises of the russian fuel and energy complex for a long time. Each well-aimed blow gradually worsens the situation for the occupiers.
As Plachkov emphasized, strikes on such enterprises reduce the volume of oil processing. Accordingly, the russian army has difficulties with the supply of petroleum products. This also forces the occupiers to transfer some air defense systems from the front to protect important objects.
"There is a shortage of petroleum products. Especially in the European part of Russia. Prices are rising. But Russia's potential, unfortunately, is still great. I think that we have damaged about 30% of such enterprises. Perhaps the figure is closer to 40%. But, according to approximate estimates, production has decreased by about 20%," said Plachkov.
According to the expert, russia has enterprises that can compensate for this shortage. But the problems are gradually increasing.
"There are difficulties with the same logistics of supplying petroleum products to the occupiers," Ivan Plachkov concluded.
