President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reports on his Telegram channel that in a week, the aggressor country of the russian federation has launched over 1,260 air bombs, almost 750 drones and more than 10 missiles of various types on Ukraine.
Zelenskyy stressed that russian military production, which ensures such terror, is based on three things – these are schemes for circumventing sanctions, without which russia would not have critically important components, high oil prices, which would be right to reduce, and an insufficient number of Ukrainian long-range missiles and drones.
"We are grateful to all partners who are tightening sanctions. There must be more global work to reduce the capabilities of the Russian oil industry. And we will continue to increase the production of our missiles and drones and call on all partners to invest in the Ukrainian defense industry, because this is an investment in protecting life," the President emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Sunday, February 9, the russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with 151 Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the following directions: Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
As of 9 a.m., it was confirmed that 70 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of UAVs were shot down in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Volyn, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Odesa Regions.
74 enemy simulator UAVs were lost in location (without negative consequences). Two UAVs remained in the air.
