The Third Operational Brigade Spartan named after Colonel Petro Bolbochan of the National Guard of Ukraine captured six russian occupiers in the Pokrovsk Axis of the Donetsk Region.
This was stated in a message on the brigade's Telegram channel on Friday, February 7.
The russian mercenaries tried to storm the positions of the Ukrainian military, but came under heavy fire and hid in a private house.
"The occupiers were unable to continue the fight or retreat, so they voluntarily surrendered. Another russian - the only survivor of his assault group - walked between houses for six days, and when he realized that there would be no help, he decided to surrender," the message says.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrainian defenders captured a russian who turned out to be an Eskimo.
Over the past 1.5 months, the fighters of the Azov brigade have replenished the exchange fund with more than 30 occupiers. They were captured in the Toretsk Axis.
