AFU deny russian statement about alleged occupation of Toretsk in Donetsk Region

The statement of the russian occupiers about the alleged complete capture of the city of Toretsk in the Donetsk Region is not true.

The spokesman for the Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group (OSTG) Nazar Voloshyn said this in a comment to Suspilne Donbas.

According to him, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to resist, despite active assault actions and shelling from the enemy.

"As of 4 p.m. in the Toretsk Axis, the enemy attacked eight times in the Toretsk area," Voloshyn said.
