Radio Svoboda reported that the Belarusian project could have stopped working due to a hack of the chat bot, as a result of which the hackers could have gotten personal data of users. At the same time, the project had about 345,000 subscribers. With the help of the public, Belarusians could transmit data on the movement of the army of the aggressor country and Belarusian troops.

"This poses a direct threat to them, since the "Belarusian Gayun" is recognized by Lukashenko's government as an extremist organization, and criminal liability is provided for connection with it. As reported by the Belarusian Service of Radio Svoboda, on February 7 it became known about the first detentions in the "Belarusian Gayun" case," the report says.

The first detained person was an employee of the Mozyr Oil Refinery, Maxim Nikitenko, noted Radio Svoboda.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 7, the Belarusian monitoring channel "Belarusian Gayun" reported that Belarus had transferred ground forces units to the border with Ukraine.

On January 30, the Legal Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted a resolution recognizing the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko as illegitimate and the elections in the country as undemocratic.
