President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the United States of America has not reduced the volume of military aid to Ukraine. At the same time, it is too early to talk about new packages of weapons and ammunition.
Zelenskyy said this at a press conference following a meeting with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, his words are quoted by Radio Svoboda.
"We do not have the reduction of American support today. It has not stopped, it continues, for which I am grateful to the U.S.," the publication quotes Zelenskyy.
The President emphasized that there is no question of new military aid packages. He added that "it is too early to talk about this yet."
Journalists asked Zelenskyy about Ukraine's ability to fight without U.S. military assistance.
"We will be weaker, and whether we will hold (the land) — I am not sure," the President said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on January 3, Reuters published an investigation stating that former U.S. President Joseph Biden slowed down the supply of military aid to Ukraine in the last year of his term in order not to increase the risks of escalation from russia.
