On the night of February 6, Ukrainian units of the Unmanned Systems Forces, in coordination with other defense forces, struck the Primorsko-Akhtarsk military airfield in the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation. As a result of the attack on the facility, explosions were heard and a fire broke out.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this airfield is used for storing, preparing and launching Shahed suicide drones, as well as servicing aircraft carrying out strikes on the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Regions.
The Ukrainian military confirmed the hit on the target, noting that the consequences of the strike are still being clarified. The General Staff emphasized that attacks on military facilities involved in the russian aggression will continue.
On the eve, February 5, explosions were heard in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, videos with smoke and air raid sirens appeared on the network.

The footage showed smoke, sirens and a sound similar to the operation of a UAV engine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the governor of the russian Krasnodar Krai informed that in the Krasnodar Krai of the aggressor state of the russian federation on the night of Wednesday, February 5, an oil depot caught fire as a result of a drone attack. The fires were assigned the second level of complexity.
