Ukrainian partisans conducted reconnaissance of the 606th Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment in the Moscow Oblast of the aggressor state of russia. Data was collected on the operating mode, transport and personnel.
The ATESH partisan movement has reported this on Telegram.
"An agent of our movement conducted reconnaissance of the territory of the 606th Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment (military unit 61996). Its headquarters is located in the village of Elektrostal, Moscow Oblast," the message says.
It is indicated that the unit belongs to the air defense troops of the Air Force of the russian Armed Forces, which are assigned to repel strikes in the airspace. It is armed with S-400 Triumf and S-300PM installations.
According to information from relatives of servicemen, after the attacks by Ukrainian UAVs in January 2025, when the drones reached the Moscow Oblast, inspections became more frequent in the unit.
An agent of the partisan movement collected data on the work regime, transport and personnel. It is reported that the information was promptly transferred to the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
