On the night of Thursday, February 6, russian troops launched 77 drones and 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 56 drones, another 18 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of February 6 (from 7 p.m. on February 5), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 77 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo and Shatalovo (all - russia) and two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov Oblast of the russian federation.
"As of 9 a.m., the shooting down of 56 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa Regions was confirmed. 18 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences)," the message says.
As a result of the enemy attack, the Kharkiv, Cherkasy and Dnipropetrovsk Regions suffered.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of February 5, the russians launched 104 drones and 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles over the territory of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military shot down 57 drones, and another 42 UAVs did not reach their targets.
Meanwhile, in Kharkiv, UAV debris damaged about 100 shopping pavilions at the Barabashovo market.
