On the night of February 5, units of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), in cooperation with the Armed Forces and other components of the Defense Forces, hit LLC Albashneft in the Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation. Meanwhile, a Buk air defense system was hit in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia Region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported this.
Thus, the specified plant for primary oil processing and production of petroleum products is positioned as a "mini-refinery" and is involved in the supply of gasoline and diesel fuel to the russian occupation army.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the hit and reported a fire at the facility. At the same time, the results of the hit are being clarified.
"Strikes against strategic facilities involved in ensuring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine will continue," the department emphasized.
In addition, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted combat work on the russian Buk anti-aircraft missile system located in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia Region. A successful hit and damage to the target were recorded.
As the Ukrainian News agency reported, earlier the governor of the russian Krasnodar Krai informed that in the Krasnodar Krai of the aggressor state of the russian federation on the night of Wednesday, February 5, an oil depot caught fire as a result of a drone attack. The fires were assigned the second rank of complexity.
