Ukrainian paratroopers have captured 21 servicemen of the army of the aggressor state russia in the Kursk Oblast.
The Command of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported this.
"Replenishment in the exchange fund of the Air Assault Forces in the Kursk Oblast. 21 servicemen of the Russian Army were captured by paratroopers with their adjuncts in the Kursk Oblast of Russia. The prisoners were provided with timely medical assistance," the message says.
According to information provided by the prisoners themselves, among them are servicemen from the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia Region, the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (Transnistria), from Buryatia, Chuvashia, Bashkortostan, Moscow and other regions of russia. It is indicated that the prisoners were provided with timely medical assistance.
"They chose the right path by surrendering to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Instead of participating in senseless meat assaults without proper training and support. We call on all servicemen of the Russian army - do not implement the fantasies of your dictator, surrender," the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stressed.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on Monday, February 3, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a command post of the troops of the aggressor country russia in the village of Novoivanovka in the Kursk Oblast.
