President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the return of all Ukrainian territories as of 1991 can be carried out not only by military means, but also by diplomatic means.
In an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, he admitted that the international assistance provided is not enough to completely oust russian troops. At the same time, he emphasized that Ukraine will use all possible means to return its lands, including military and diplomatic approaches.
According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine has the right to return the territories, since it has not violated any international or moral norms.
"Unfortunately, the assistance that we receive from our partners is not enough to completely oust Putin from Ukrainian soil. However, we will return our territories using a combined approach: on the battlefield, as our military does, and in some cases - through diplomatic means. We have the right to do this, because we have not violated any principle of international and moral law," Zelenskyy emphasized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 4, Zelenskyy called for the return of nuclear weapons to Ukraine until the country is accepted into the North Atlantic Alliance.
