A clause on minerals was added to the strategic Victory Plan, that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented to the Verkhovna Rada, specifically for the US.

"To guarantee the use of these resources, it is necessary to ensure security so that the russians do not occupy the territories where they are located," said the interlocutor of Suspilne.
During the presentation of the Victory Plan, Zelenskyy proposed concluding an agreement "on the joint protection of critical resources available in Ukraine, joint investment and use." Among such resources, Volodymyr Zelenskyy named uranium, titanium, graphite and lithium.
Recall, US President Donald Trump stated that the US is interested in signing an agreement with Ukraine on the supply of rare earth metals and other natural resources in exchange for military assistance.
According to preliminary estimates, the total value of mineral deposits in the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by russian military is estimated at at least USD 12.4 trillion.
