Russian troops are increasingly focusing their efforts on capturing Andriyivka in the Donetsk Region, trying to break through to the village from several directions.
DeepState reports that the enemy is actively attacking positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine north of Andriyivka. The occupiers are attacking from the areas of Slovyanka and Petropavlivka, advancing along the gulches to the Yasenove-Andriyivka road.
On the northeastern outskirts of Andriyivka, the enemy has gained a foothold, and its attempts to advance have noticeably intensified. The occupiers are carrying out the main movement from Petropavlivka, using dug-in fortifications, trying to get deep into the village.
"Recently, everyone could observe the 'red enclave' on the northeastern outskirts of Andriyivka, which some perceived as a mistake or a bug. In fact, this is a reflection of the presence and consolidation of the russian infantry on the outskirts of the village, which climb from different sides, even through the positions of the Defense Forces," the report says.
At the same time, russian infantry is trying to break through the village of Shevchenko along the engineering and fortification structures that connect it with Andriyivka.
"After the first successful attempts to get into Andriyivka, russians saw an opportunity to develop this, so they are sending infantry to the slaughter with the task of 'die, but get there," DeepState reported.
Additionally, the enemy is focusing its efforts on the direction between Ulakly and Dachne, which are located south of Andriyivka. This may open up new opportunities for a further assault on the village, DeepState notes.
Analysts report that the defense of Andriyivka remains difficult due to a number of problems, but the Ukrainian military is doing everything possible to contain the enemy.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, has advanced near six settlements in the Donetsk Region.
