A member of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People faction, chairman of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy, Danylo Hetmantsev assures that tax increases are not planned in 2025.
He reported this in an interview with Ukrainian News Agency.
"We are quite confident in our prospects for 2025, unless there is, this clarification is fundamentally important, some extremely negative scenario of events. Something that I don't even want to talk about, which will require the immediate collection of large additional financial resources. But this is currently unlikely. Therefore, summing up, I can say that no, we do not plan to increase taxes in 2025," he said.
According to him, the state budget for 2025 is designed to continue military operations until the end of the year and is provided by assistance from partners and internal revenues.
Hetmantsev also predicts an increase in the over-execution of the state budget by the tax service compared to 2024.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko said that no tax increases are planned for next year.
