On January 29, at about 9:00 p.m., an American Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 PSA collided in midair with a Sikorsky H-60 ​​helicopter. At the time of the collision, the plane was landing at Reagan Airport, near Washington. The plane fell into the Potomac River. There were 64 people on board the plane, including children. There were military personnel on board the helicopter.
