Defense Ministry codifies and admits to operation 130 new samples of weapons and military equipment

During January 2025, the Ministry of Defense codified and admitted to operation in the Defense Forces about 130 new samples of weapons and military equipment. Of these, approximately 100 were produced by Ukrainian gunsmiths.

This is stated in a message on the Ministry of Defense website.

In January 2024, less than fifty samples of weapons and military equipment were codified, of which about 20 were of Ukrainian production.

"Given the high intensity of hostilities at the front, our soldiers need more weapons of a wide range. We need more innovative means of destruction to increase the capabilities of our soldiers on the battlefield. Domestic gunsmiths are quickly responding to today's needs, increasing production volumes, and developing the latest weapons. Progress is especially noticeable in the development of unmanned systems of various types and purposes: air, ground, sea, and electronic warfare," said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Brigadier General Anatolii Klochko.
