2 km to enemy positions: residents of Myrnohrad in Donetsk Region urged to evacuate

The army of the aggressor country of russia has approached Myrnohrad in the Donetsk Region and is currently two kilometers from the city. Local residents have been urged to evacuate as soon as possible.

This is announced in a statement by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

The department said that despite the proximity of the front line and constant shelling, approximately three thousand civilians continue to remain in the front-line city.

The city has no electricity, centralized water and gas supply. Neighborhoods in the south of the city have been completely destroyed by russian artillery and air strikes.

Police officers have published a video taken in Myrnohrad. It shows the work of the investigative and operational group, which recorded the consequences of another shelling by the russians.

The footage shows the destruction inflicted on the city by the russian occupiers.

Myrnohrad is a city in the Pokrovsk district of the Donetsk Region. Before the start of the full-scale invasion of the aggressor country of russia, it was home to almost 50,000 people.

Myrnohrad, like neighboring Pokrovsk, is the main target of russian troops on this sector of the front.

According to the Ukrainian analytical project DeepState, the russians are currently actively attacking to the east and west of both settlements.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, over the past 24 hours, January 30, the russian army shelled 14 settlements in the Donetsk Region. 19 people were injured in russian strikes, one of them died.

Recall that on the afternoon of January 30, the occupation aircraft dropped a 500-kilogram bomb on the city of Bilytske. Local authorities showed what its explosion led to.
