Invaders led to garbage collapse. Problem of waste disposal worsened in occupied Donetsk Region

In the temporarily occupied Donetsk Region, the situation with the disposal of solid utility waste is approaching a critical point. The occupation authorities have not ensured the normal functioning of the waste collection and recycling system, which is causing dissatisfaction among local residents.

This is stated in the message of the National Resistance Center (NRC).

As reported, during the years of occupation, the waste disposal system has failed due to the complete lack of proper maintenance. The enemy has not only failed to maintain its normal working capacity, but is now completely ignoring the newly emerging problems in this area.

Thus, the complete absence of separate waste collection, the lack of specialized recycling enterprises and the chaotic accumulation of waste have led to a critical deterioration of the situation in the field of disposal at TOT, that is, the occupiers have created irreversible environmental consequences.

Additionally, the situation is complicated by the acute shortage of personnel in municipal services, as the russian occupation army forcibly mobilized a significant part of its employees into its criminal army.

The National Resistance Center emphasizes that this is yet another proof that the occupiers are indifferent to the living conditions of Ukrainians in the TOT - the interests of the aggressor country, the russian federation, are reduced only to the maximum use of the region's resources and maintaining full control over the local population.

"The National Resistance Center emphasizes that the russian occupation army is deliberately neglecting the municipal sector in the TOT, causing an ecological disaster, while at the same time depriving the region of workers through forced mobilization into its criminal army, which is a direct violation of the Geneva Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War," the National Resistance Center announced in a statement.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, according to the NRC, russian invaders are using children, turning them into a tool for their propaganda campaign in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Earlier, the invaders took another group of children from temporarily occupied Mariupol to russia. This time, they are 119 Ukrainian high school students who will undergo "re-education" during campaign meetings with russian propagandists.
