The total amount of claims from 17 russian TV channels to Google due to the blocking of russian media accounts on YouTube has reached RUB 1.81 duodecillion.

The consideration of the case began in 2020 - the media filed lawsuits with the American Google LLC, the Irish Google Ireland, as well as the russian Google LLC demanding the restoration of the blocked channel accounts on YouTube.
In 2021, a russian court imposed a progressive fine on Google due to the fact that the corporation refused to restore russian propaganda channels, in particular Channel One, VDTRK, NTV, Zvezda, and Margarita Simonyan. According to the court's decision, a fine of RUB 100,000 is charged for each day of downtime for the company.
At the end of October 2024, the amount was RUB 2 undecillion, now its size is RUB 1.81 duodecillion.
