Overnight into Friday, January 31, russian troops launched 102 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 59 of them, another 37 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that last night the enemy attacked Ukraine with 102 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russia) and Cape Chauda (Crimea).
"As of 09:00 a.m., it has been confirmed that 59 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of UAVs have been shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Odesa Regions. 37 enemy simulator UAVs were lost in location (without negative consequences)," the message says.

Sumy, Odesa and Cherkasy Regions were affected by the enemy attack.
Four enemy UAVs are still in the air, combat operations are ongoing.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of January 30, russian troops launched 81 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 37 UAVs, and another 39 drones did not reach their targets.
